Since we realized that it was more cost-effective to fly to G\u00e4llivare, we planned an exciting trip that began with lunch and an unforgettable mine tour in Boliden Aitik. With one of our knowledgeable guides on board, the journey between G\u00e4llivare and Kiruna became a fascinating odyssey, full of interesting facts and stories that transformed the transport distance into a part of the adventure. <\/p>\n\n
Day two began with a guided tour through Kiruna’s historic streets. Our engaging guide shared the city’s rich history and the spectacular relocation of the entire city of Kiruna, a story that not only informed but also touched. After a lovely lunch, the participants had the chance to descend into LKAB’s visitor mine and experience the depths of Kiruna’s underground treasures \u2013 an adventure that inspires wonder and respect for the forces of nature. <\/p>\n\n
The evening ended in a magical place \u2013 the heritage center in Kurravaara. Here, a delicious dinner was served outdoors and a troubadour gave atmosphere and warmth inside the cozy cabin. The food, the music and the genuine atmosphere created an unforgettable evening. The place was carefully chosen with the fantastic opportunities to see the northern lights in mind, a magical experience that the participants got to enjoy under the starry sky. <\/p>\n\n
