On snowshoes, your guide will take you through Abisko&#8217;s sparkling snow landscape, mountain birch forests, and expansive views.<\/p>\n\n<h2><span class=\"s1\"><b>Discover Abisko&#8217;s Winter Landscape<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p3\">During the tour, you&#8217;ll learn to move on traditional snowshoes and experience the Abisko valley from perhaps its most beautiful side.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">The mountain birch forest is home to rich wildlife even during winter. Along the way, we&#8217;ll search for tracks of mountain hare, ptarmigan, fox, and lemming\u2014and with a bit of luck, perhaps even moose.<\/p>\n\n<h2><span class=\"s1\"><b>A Pause in the Stillness<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p3\">During the hike, we&#8217;ll stop for a break with a warm berry drink. Here you can enjoy the silence, the mountain air, and the snow-covered landscape.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">In clear weather, you&#8217;ll get a fantastic view over Lake Tornetr\u00e4sk and Abisko&#8217;s mountain world, including the well-known Lapporten\u2014the distinctive U-shaped valley formed by the inland ice.<\/p>\n\n<h2><span class=\"s1\"><b>Information<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p4\"><b>Start times:<\/b><span class=\"s2\"> 9:30 AM and 2:00 PM\n<\/span><span class=\"s1\"><b>Duration:<\/b><\/span><span class=\"s2\"> approximately 3 hours<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><b>This includes:<\/b>\nSnowshoes, warm drink, and transfer to and from your accommodation in Abisko or Bj\u00f6rkliden.<\/p>\n\n<h2><span class=\"s1\"><b>Clothing and Equipment<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p3\">Dress warmly according to the weather with a hat, gloves, warm pants, and jacket or snowsuit. We recommend bringing a backpack with an extra layer of clothing. This way, you can easily adjust your clothing if you get warm during the hike.<\/p>\n\n<h2><span class=\"s1\"><b>Pickup<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p3\">Be at the pickup location you selected when booking at least 5 minutes before the stated time.
