We determine our destination about 30 minutes before pickup, based on current Northern Lights and weather forecasts, to maximize your chances of seeing them.

We have four pick-up points. The first is the bus stop at Stadshustorget (same side as Scandic), the second is the bus stop at Hotel E10, the third is the bus stop outside OT’s Bodega, and the last is the Norrmalm bus stop (across the street from Best Western Arctic Eden).
We are unable to wait or pick you up at any location other than those available when you book. If you plan to take a taxi to the meeting point, make sure to book it well in advance as taxis can be difficult to find in Kiruna.
All tours include different types of equipment; check the specific tour to see what’s included. Snowmobile tours usually include warm clothing, boots, and a helmet.

If you book a private city tour, we can provide it in other languages such as Swedish, German, and Spanish.

No, a regular driver’s license is required to drive a snowmobile with a guide. However, you can ride as a passenger.

It depends on whether we’re running the tour with a large or small bus. The large bus has a toilet, but the small bus does not. The size of the bus depends on how many people have booked, so we can’t promise that there will be a toilet on the bus.

All tours have different minimum age requirements. When you book, you’ll see what applies to your specific tour.

Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate a wheelchair on our bus, and light hiking on uneven terrain may occur.

Some activities we carry out ourselves; for others, we are resellers. You can usually see who the activity provider is because we state “in collaboration with”. If you open the terms before completing your booking, “Kiruna Buss booking terms” will be shown at the top, and the activity company’s name and their booking terms will be at the bottom.

Unfortunately not, there may be an opportunity to buy it at one of the stops, but we cannot promise that.
