Kiruna, the city known for being relocated due to mining operations, also has a fascinating history.
This tour takes you on a journey where you’ll experience both the old and new Kiruna city center and its cultural diversity,
Sami and Torne Valley cultural heritage. Learn about LKAB’s CEO and city founder Hjalmar Lundbohm and his vision of creating a model community. You’ll hear about the church and how it was moved to the new city center.
The tour is in English and suitable for all ages, except for infants requiring strollers as we cannot accommodate strollers on the bus.
Light walking on uneven ground may occur, so the tour isn’t suitable for people with mobility impairments.
Please note that we cannot visit inside the church due to restoration work following its relocation to the new site. Reopening is scheduled for 2027.

If Kiruna Buss needs to cancel the tour for any reason, a full refund will be provided.
