Join Explore Arctic on a cosy small-group day trip from Kiruna to discover the magic of Abisko and Björkliden. Start with a visit to Abisko National Park, known for its dramatic canyon and breathtaking winter scenery. Walk along the cliffs and feel the quiet power of nature all around you.
Continue to the enchanting Silverfallet, where icy cascades sparkle and partly frozen waters create the perfect setting for photos and peaceful moments in nature. Hike down to Sweden’s sixth-largest lake, Torneträsk, and when the lake is frozen, step out onto the shimmering ice and walk towards its small islands, surrounded by nothing but ice. The walk down is short but quite steep, so you may get a little help from Explore Arctic’s guides.
Afterwards, we continue to the charming village of Björkliden. Here you can enjoy a hearty lunch at a welcoming local hotel, with sweeping views of snow-covered peaks.
On the way back, you can sit back and take a well-earned nap while Explore Arctic safely drives you back to your pick-up points.
