Electrification of the Bus Fleet in Kiruna
A central part of our commitment to sustainable transport is the transition to electric buses in Kiruna. The proportion of electric buses in our fleet is continuously increasing, leading to:

Renewable fuels – reduced climate impact today
Not all vehicles can yet be fully electrified. That’s why we use renewable fuels such as HVO (hydrotreated vegetable oil) in parts of our bus fleet.
This is a concrete and immediate step toward lower emissions and strengthens Kiruna’s position in climate-smart transport in Norrbotten.
