This tour takes you on a journey of discovery where you will experience both the old and new Kiruna city center and its cultural diversity, Sami and Tornedalian cultural heritage. Learn about LKAB’s CEO and city founder Hjalmar Lundbohm and his vision of creating a model society. You will hear about the church and how it has been moved to the new city center.

The tour is in English and suitable for all ages, however not for infants in need of a stroller because we cannot take a stroller on the bus. Light hiking in terrain may occur, therefore the tour is not suitable for people with mobility impairments.

Cancellation policy: Free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure. Less than 24 hours will result in no refund. If Kiruna Buss needs to cancel the tour for any reason, a full refund will be provided.

Are strollers allowed?

Unfortunately, there’s no room for them.

Do you have access to a child seat for the bus?

Unfortunately, no.

Do you offer the city tour in languages other than English?

If you book a private city tour, we can provide it in other languages such as Swedish, German, and Spanish.

Is coffee included on the Kiruna city tour?

Unfortunately not, there may be an opportunity to buy it at one of the stops, but we cannot promise that.

Is the Kiruna city tour accessible?

Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate a wheelchair on our bus, and light hiking on uneven terrain may occur.

We have checked out of our hotel, can we bring our luggage with us?

Unfortunately, we do not have room for luggage, but Kiruna Lapland Tourist Center has luggage storage for a fee.
